Hope was generously donated to us by Guide Dogs of America. She is a spunky little female Labrador with lots of puppy energy. She will be one of the first puppies to enter into the Paws on a Mission training program.

Training Status Update: 10/23/23

Team Hope is working towards graduation requirements.



Training Status Update: 9/21/23

Hope has been placed! She has entered into a trial placement with Kennedy. Hope was donated to us as an 8 week old puppy from Guide Dogs of America/Tender Loving Canines.

Hope was raised by Grace Carter, Sarah Densham and Steve Wolf. Hope spent three months in the Paws on a Mission prison program and was fostered by Sue Wilkerson while receiving her scent training.


Training Status Update: 8/4/23

Hope is in the advanced phase of scent training. She is working with 4 decoys and is building her duration at the target odor. She is quickly making her way towards her testing phases.

Hope has been introduced to scent training. She has strong pattern recognition and is quick to find the target odor in the buckets.

Hope is being introduced to foundation nose work and imprinting to the target odor

 Hope is getting so big! she has been going to work with her puppy raisers and getting more exposure to the world

Hope is learning how to settle and be calm when no activity is going on around her. She will be starting to be socialized more and given more exposure to outside stimuli.
