Training Status Update: 9/17/23

Training Status Update: 8/4/23

Pegasus has been placed with the Fairfield Fire Department as an Agency Team dog. He is the newest member of their peer support team. Way to go Pegasus!

Training Status Update: 7/10/23

Pegasus is continuing to work on tasks that he will need as an Agency Team Dog.

Training Status Update: 6/17/23

Pegasus has joined our agency program and will be placed with a handler from the Fairfield Fire Department.  His first 72 hours shift was spent doing PR events at a nursing home and a nursery school.

Training Status Update: 6/11/23

Pegasus has completed scent training and he is waiting for official placement. We are working on extra skills such as pressure therapy, cuddle, and interruptive behaviors. check out the video

Training Status Update: 4/30/23

Pegasus has a better understanding of the target odor and the pattern. He has been introduced to distractions in the training room and is able to work through them. He was introduced to his first decoy odor and learned to pass the decoy in order to get to the target odor

Training Status Update: 4/6/23

Pegasus was introduced to the target odor and began learning the pattern for scent training. Pegasus lacks drive and confidence with the odor–we are working on building up his drive to the odor, and how to be more methodical with checking each bucket.

Pegasus is being introduced to Foundation Nosework and will begin his formal training.
